Total added another golden link to its chain of pioneering initiatives in product quality, innovation, safety and security, and became the first energy company in Turkey to receive the ISO 39001 “Road Traffic Safety Certification” to improve road and traffic safety.

Global oil and energy giant TOTAL also holds a respectable position in Turkey with its pioneering and innovative activities. The company’s commitment to human life is now crowned with “Road Traffic Safety Certification” issued by Bureau Veritas, a global independent organization in Inspection and Certification, making TOTAL the first energy company in Turkey to be awarded with this certification.
Previously in April 2013, TOTAL became the first and only company in Fuel, Lubricants and LPG markets, awarded with ISO 10002 - “Customer Satisfaction – Handling of Customer Complaints” certificate  simultaneously, again by Bureau Veritas.

TOTAL, by obtaining ISO 39001 “Road Traffic Safety Certification”, demonstrates that it aims to raise awareness about safety in traffic and individuals’ responsibilities, contributes to compliance with applicable traffic laws and regulations, assumes social responsibility for reducing traffic accidents, one of the major causes of death in the world and in Turkey, and is committed to protecting people’s lives
